==Background==

The Iblic Creed, drafted in 1420 during the Reconquista, governs the faith of the sect known as the Banu Shaitan, and seeks to reconcile traditional Lancea Sanctum dogma with with Islamic theology. Individual Ibn-Shaitan must follow an inverted interpretation of the Five Pillars of Islam, which claims that Allah chose all vampires to challenge the faith of mortal man. The denomination as a whole finally made peace with its Christianized rivals in the nineteenth century, and was fully, if reluctantly, accepted into the greater Lancea Sanctum in most domains where it existed.

Understandably, most members remain in Islamic-controlled areas and have a minimal presence in Europe and the Americas. This is beginning to change, however, as Muslims continue to develop significant populations in the Western  world. These are exceptions, though, and most of the denomination can be found in predominantly Islamic nations from North Africa and the Middle East to as far as Indonesia and the Philippines.

==The Five Pillars of Islam==

*'''Shahadah''' - the declaration that there is none worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad is His last messenger.

*'''Salat''' - Salat refers to the Second Pillar of Islam, which requires a Muslim to pray five times a day in the direction of Mecca. For followers of the Iblic Creed, the Salat is altered to fit the needs of the undead: Prayers are instead made five times a night.

*'''Zakat''' - which is generally 2.5% of the total savings for a rich man working in trade or industry, and 10% or 20% of the annual produce for agriculturists. This money or produce is distributed among the poor.

*'''Sawm''' - Among mortal Muslims, sawn refers to the practice of fasting during the daylight hours of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan. The Iblic Creed modifies the Ramadan Fast to apply to the needs of the Banu Shaitan. An Ibn-Shaitan is required during Ramadan to feed only from a certain type of vessel. While there are some divisions in the creed as to how the selection process should work, the most common interpretation is that once a vampire feeds from a vessel during Ramadan, anyone else he feeds from must be of the same gender, approximate age (give or take a few years), ethnic heritage and occupation.

*'''Hajj''' - the Hajj refers to the duty of every Ibn-Shaitan to make a pilgrimage at least once a century to a holy site important to the sect. Typically, a coterie will make the pilgrimage together, but often an individual vampire will go alone.

==Muhammad and Longinus==

The followers of the Iblic Creed treat both Longinus and Muhammad as prophets of Allah, however remembering that Muhammad is the last. Muslims do not regard him as the founder of a new religion, but rather believe him to be the last in a line of prophets of God and regard his mission as one of restoring the original monotheistic faith of Adam, Abraham and other prophets of Islam that had become corrupted by man over time, the same goes for Longinus.

Iblics believe that the Testament of Longinus, along with the Bible and the Torah has become corrupted by man over time. While Longinus was damned for his sinful life and was given a divine mission in his unlife, that mission was fully revealed in the message and teachings of Muhammad.

Iblics believe:

*Longinus lived a sinful life and was damned as a vampire for it

*Longinus was a prophet of Allah

*Longinus was given Allah's message from the angel Vahishtael to share to the damned

*Longinus was a good and faithful Muslim in his unlife

*The Dark Apostles were also good and faithful Muslims in their unlife

*Longinus and the Dark Apostles preached the message of Allah

*Theban Sorcery is a gift from Allah

*The Testament of Longinus has over time become corrupt and incorrect because of the flase teachings doctrine of the other Creeds

*Muhammad is the last prophet of Allah, therefore, his message and his teachings are true, uncorrupt and complete

*The Qu'ran is the Word of Allah

*Allah has damned them to Jahannam (Hell) for their sinful life and unlife, however in their damnation they do serve purpose to Allah and have meaning in their damnation

==Iblic Feeding Laws==

As Muslim have their own dietary laws as followers of Allah, so do Iblic vampires in relating to feeding. As drinking blood is prohibited and sinful in the eyes of Allah, Iblic vampires consider feeding upon the blood of their prey is a nesercary evil and nesercary sin to commit in order to complete Allah's Will. When preying upon their victims, they pray twice, once before and after, in repentence of the evil they have commited before Allah but giving Him thanks for the mission to send their victims on the true and right path to Paradise.

In relation to feeding upon animals for vitae, only pigs are explicitly prohibited in the Quran, also animals with claws and fangs (predators and carrion eaters) are prohibited implicitly but not explicitly. Some foods are considered disgusting even though not expressly prohibited (makruh). This can vary by region for animals such as donkeys, pelicans, weasels, foxes, ravens, and crocodiles, for instance. Although not specifically forbidden by the Quran, birds of prey and carrion-eaters are considered to be prohibited.

Also anything that interferes with the clear functioning of the mind is prohibited. This includes alcohol and intoxicating drugs. Alcohol is prohibited either as a beverage or in food preparation; thus pure vanilla and other extracts pose a problem, as do mouthwashes with alcohol.

The most important feeding law for the Iblic vampire is that of feeding upon a fellow Muslim. Feeding upon someone who keeps the Five Pillars of Islam and confesses, 'There is no god but Allah; Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah' is a sin before Allah, and the vampire who commits this act of evil must seek Allah's forgiveness and go to great lengths to prove the repentence. When feeding their is no greater sin then to feed on a follower of Muhammad.

==Imams==

As the other Creeds have their own organization, so does the Iblic Creed. The Iblic Creed's basis of status is much simpler then other creeds, and is based on knowledge, wisdom, strength, power, prayer and faith. The Iblic Creed is lead like Muslims are by Imams, the word meaning leader. These Imams call the masses to prayer, lead them in worship, counsel, teach, preach and in a sense rule of over te Iblic kindred in a city. As it is rare to find large amounts of Iblic vampires in places like the U.S.A and across western Europe, the amount of Imams to a city is generally zero to one, however in large masses, perhaps two or three.

As Imam is the only title of real status in a domain, it is a great honour and budden. When their are two Imams in the same city, and they disagree over an issue, this can cause conflict and power struggles, as they are both equal in status. It can fall on the popularity of the Imam within the Iblic kindred to see who comes off better then the other.

==Jihad==

The term "jihad" is often used to describe purely physical and military "religious war", through physical struggle. Some Muslim scholars say that this only makes up part of the broader meaning of the concept of jihad. The denotation is of a struggle, challenge, difficulty or frequently opposed effort, made either in accomplishment or as resistance.

Jihad has been classified either as al-jihād al-akbar (the greater jihad), the struggle against one's soul (nafs), or al-jihād al-asghar (the lesser jihad), the external, physical effort, often implying fighting.

Muslim scholars explained there are five kinds of jihad fi sabilillah (struggle in the cause of God):

*Jihad of the heart/soul (jihad bin nafs/qalb) is an inner struggle of good against evil in the mind, through concepts such as tawhid.

*Jihad by the tongue (jihad bil lisan) is a struggle of good against evil waged by writing and speech, such as in the form of dawah (proselytizing), Khutbas (sermons), et al.

*Jihad by the pen and knowledge (jihad bil qalam/ilm) is a struggle for good against evil through scholarly study of Islam, ijtihad (legal reasoning), and through sciences (such as medical sciences).

*Jihad by the hand (jihad bil yad) refers to a struggle of good against evil waged by actions or with one's wealth, such as going on the Hajj pilgrimage seen as the best jihad for women, taking care of elderly parents, providing funding for jihad, political activity for furthering the cause of Islam, stopping evil by force, or espionage.

*Jihad by the sword (jihad bis saif) refers to qital fi sabilillah (armed fighting in the way of God, or holy war).

== Passages from the Koran ==

'''The Opening of The Quran'''

*'' In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds; Most Gracious, Most Merciful; Master of the Day of Judgment. Thee do we worship, and Thine aid we seek. Show us the straight way, The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, those whose (portion) is not wrath, and who go not astray.''

'''Allah'''

* Surah 1:2 - ''“All praise is due to God alone, the Sustainer of all the worlds…Guide us the straight way – the way of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed Thy blessings, not of those who have been condemned [by Thee], nor of those who go astray!”''

* Surah 2:115 - ''“And God’s is the east and the west: and wherever you turn, there is God’s countenance. Behold, God is infinite, all-knowing…His is all that is in the heavens and on earth; all things devoutly obey His will. The Originator is He of the heavens and the earth: and when He wills a thing to be, He but says unto it, “Be” – and it is.”''

* Surah 2:186 - ''“And if My servants ask thee about Me – behold, I am near; I respond to the call of him who calls, whenever he calls unto Me: let them, then, respond unto Me, and believe in Me, so that they might follow the right way.”''

'''God's Presence'''

* Surah 2:164 - ''“Verily, in the creation of the heavens and of the earth, and the succession of night and day: and in the ships that speed through the sea with what is useful to man: and in the waters which God sends down from the sky, giving life thereby to the earth after it had been lifeless, and causing all manner of living creatures to multiply thereon: and in the change of the winds, and the clouds that run their appointed courses between sky and earth: [in all this] there are messages indeed for people who use their reason.”''

'''The Spirit of Islam'''

* Surah 2:177 - ''“True piety does not consist in turning your faces to the east or the west – but truly pious is he who believes in God, and the Last Day, and the angels, and revelation, and the prophets; and spends his substance – however much he himself may cherish it – upon his near of kin, and the orphans, and the needy, and the wayfarer , and the beggars, and for the freeing of human beings from bondage  ; and is constant in prayer, and renders the purifying dues; and [truly pious are] they who keep their promises whenever they promise, and are patient in misfortune and hardship and in time of peril: it is they that have proved themselves true, and it is they, they who are conscious of God.”''

'''Life'''

* Sura 103 - ''By the declining day, man is a state of loss, save those who believe and do good works, and exhort one another to truth and exhort one another to endurance.''

* Sura 24:39 - ''As for those who disbelieved, their deeds are like a mirage in a desert. The thirsty one thinks it to be water until he comes up to it, he finds it to be nothing; but he finds Allah with him, Who will pay him his due.''

* Surah 2:155 - ''“And most certainly We shall try you by means of danger, and hunger, and loss of worldly goods, of lives and of [labor’s] fruits. But give glad tidings unto those who are patient in adversity – who, when calamity befalls them, say, “Verily, unto God do we belong, and, verily, unto Him we shall return.” It is they upon whom their Sustainer’s blessings andgrace are bestowed, and it is they, they who are on the right path!”''

'''Death'''

* Surah 2:180 - ''“It is ordained for you, when death approaches any of you and he is leaving behind much wealth, to make bequests in favor of his parents and [other] near of kin in accordance with what is fair: this is binding on all who are conscious of God.”''

''''Prophets''''

* Surah 3:84 - "''Say: We believe in Allah, and in what has been revealed to us and what was revealed to Abraham, Isma'il, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, and in (the Books) given to Moses, Jesus, and the prophets, from their Lord: We make no distinction between one and another among them, and to Allah do we bow our will (in Islam)''."

'''Jesus'''

* Surah 3:55 - ''"Behold! Allah said: O Jesus! I will take thee and raise thee to Myself and clear thee (of the falsehoods) of those who blaspheme; I will make those who follow thee superior to those who reject faith, to the Day of Resurrection: Then shall ye all return unto me, and I will judge between you of the matters wherein ye dispute''."

'''Jihad'''

* Surah 61:4  ''"Truly Allah loves those who fight in His Cause in battle array, as if they were a solid cemented structure,"''

* Surah 2:190-193  ''"Fight in the cause of Allah those who fight you but do not transgress limits...And slay them wherever ye catch them.  And turn them out from where they have turned you out; for persecution is worse than slaughter; But fight them not at the sacred Mosque unless they first fight you there; But if they fight you, slay them.  Such is the reward of those who reject faith.  But if they cease, Allah is oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.  And fight them on until there is no more persecution.  And the religion becomes Allah's.  But if they cease, Let there be no hostility except to those who practice oppression"''

* Sura 9:30  ''"Make war upon such of those to whom the Scriptures have been given as believe not in God, or in the Last Day, and who forbid not that which God and His Apostle have forbidden, and who profess not the profession of the truth, until they pay tribute out of hand, and they be humbled.  The Jews say, "Ezra is a son of God"; and the Christians say, "The Messiah is a son of God."  Such the sayings in their mouths!  They resemble the saying of the infidels of old!  God do battle with them!  How are they misguided?  They take their teachers, and their monks, and the Messiah, son of Mary, for lords besides God, though bidden to worship one God only.  There is no God but He!  Far from His glory be what they associate with Him!  Fain would they put out God's light with their mouths: but God only desireth to perfect His light, albeit the infidels abhor it.  He it is who hath sent His Apostle with the guidance and a religion of the truth, that He may make it victorious over every other religion, albeit they who assign partners to God be averse from it.''

'''Day of Judgment'''

* Sura 70:6-11 - ''Surely they think it to be far off, and We see it nigh: on the day when the heaven shall be as molten copper, and the mountains shall be as tufts of wool, and friend shall not ask of friend (though) they shall be made to see each other.''

* Sura 81:1-14 - ''When the sun is overthrown, and when the stars fall, and when the camels big with young are abandoned, and when the wild beasts are herded together, and when the seas rise, and when souls are reunited, and when the girl-child that was buried alive is asked for what sin she was slain, and when the pages are laid open, and when the sky is torn away, and when hell is lighted, and when the Garden is brought nigh, (then) every soul will know what it hath made ready.''
