According the rumors about the legendary origin and the tales spun by the eldest of the bloodline the bloodline was founded long before the opium wars. By none other than Anvari himself in 100ad. There are none old enough to verify this tale themselves but the rumors and legends of their origin continue to this day. 
 
The line of Sepher Anvari are addicts one and all, enthralled to the bliss of the opium nod. This craving is infused in their lineage, and grants them secret power over both the drug and those who demand it. Only drugged blood fully satisfies their hunger, although their power of ''Nepenthe'' lets the poppy's gift flower in places it has never naturally been.
